Greeting, paddle tennis fans!!! I am recently moved to Lincoln, CA (near Sacramento)  from Ventura County (and formerly of the Venice Beach area- the paddle tennis Mecca). I am trying to find any place to play the greatest sport ever.  Anyone who can help?  I am also looking for folks who already play paddle tennis or who would like to learn.  It's easier than tennis in every way-  smaller court, shorter paddle, ball is de-pressurized so it's easier to control. There's a lot less chasing because the court is so much smaller. It's fast and fun, and uses the same skills as tennis, but is easier on the body. So anyone interested, please write, or if you know of any courts, please leave names and locations.  Let's get this wonderful sport introduced around here.  Don't let Southern CA have all the fun.  For more information on the sport, go to paddletennis.biz.  You'll learn a lot more.  Hope to hear from you all. Robin

Hi Robin,
Now that you have traded palm trees for redwoods, you should also discover "platform" tennis. Given the weather in Northern CA this sport is a better fit (and more fun). There are some courts just north of San Francisco. Courts In CA

I used to play paddle tennis as a kid at Arden Hills C.C. in Sacramento.  I'm no longer a member there, but would love to play again!  My body's a little too beat up for regular tennis anymore.  Please email:  arc10sgrrl@yahoo.com

Hi Robin, I'm Ron Ross and I live in the Sacramento area also. I play tennis, paddle tennis and platform tennis. I really like all of these fast action sports but platform tennis gives me the most pleasure as you have all the standard play of tennis and paddle tennis but with platform tennis the screen play adds even more excitement to the play. I've played paddle tennis at venice beach when I lived in Long Beach. I've played platform tennis at the Lagunitis club in the town of Ross during my college days at Notre Dame in Belmont CA. They don't have a team any more. If you would like to get together with others and hit or even view a platform tennis tournament give me an e-mail at ronross02@hotmail.com or call so we can talk live at 916 446-4534. If your interested in viewing a platform tennis tournament there's one in Jan. Check out www.american platform tennis association.com and go to tournaments for the western region which I think is 5 or 6. Take care for now and have a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year! See Ya and Peace out. Best regards Ron Ross

Hello Ron:  Do you know anything about the courts in Ross, CA?  I played growing up in the Midwest and would love to start playing again out here (we're in Southern Marin County).  Respond to sloan@earthlink.net

My brother lives in orange county and paddle tennis is quite prevalent there.  He is coming up this holiday and I am looking for courts for him and I to enjoy.  I have never played but am a 5.0 tennis plpayer and really want to learn paddle tennis.  I know of no courts here in northern california so any help you may have already come across would be appreciated.  Thanks and happy holidays

Hi! I have moved from NJ to Southern Cal and am going crazy without playing paddle "platform tennis". I have heard that it does exist. Does anyone know where I can find courts in Orange County?
