So it all comes down to Tuesday Night at The Creek. Creek/PRC VS Cherry Valley, who's it going to be? Bonekill gives the early favorite to Creek/PRC because Schmitty (National Quarters) and Bancilla (National Finals) must be exhausted while Creek/PRC had no, none, zero, nada players travel to Cincy for the Nationals. Creek/PRC won the regular season series but with CV's firepower, anything can happen. On paper, you figure Creek/Piping wins at courts #1, 3,4 & 6, while CV should prevail at the #2 and #5 holes. Any thoughts?

Playoffs? You wanna talk about the playoffs? Are you serious?
I have some thoughts. First, how tired can a few people really be from being enclosed in a small court surrounded by chicken wire a few days ago. Two guys that play the 45s won the nationals- enough said.
I don't care who you are- you can't miss serves and make mistakes & expect to win. Especially in the playoffs.

... you have never played more then 1 match a day, I suppose. Neither you have participated in a tournament and therefore, unfamiliar with the mental exhaustion that players sustain during these kind of events!

As expected Creek/PRC prevails 4-2 in the Championship match, complete with Grilled Hot Dogs, Burgers and plenty of cold beer for all. Great win for the best Team in Long Island. Frankly, the question is: Who can possibly take down this Juggernaut? This is clearly a Dynasty thats just starting to come together. Next year will be an utter steamrolling through the League/playoffs unless someone can add significant firepower to their squad. I don't see any competition for those nameless guys other than Caldwell.

Bonekill, what a compelling commentary! Two clubs who joined forces and field at least half the squad with twenty-somethings and beat up on out of shape regular members. Indeed, what a juggernaut.

True, Bonekill is a cretin. The Creek are good because Caldwell plays for them, Bill Kloss I think commutes from Jersey and they have 18 pros in the line-up.
If Dan Rothshcild wouldn't have left Cherry Valley to play for the GC, Cherry Valley would have won the league every year, like they have for 5 straight.

End of thread. The only chance Cherry Valley had was splitting up Bancila and Schmitt. Not sure why that did not happen.

Yes, Creek/PRC did have the best team in the league this season. No, they don't have 18 pros on the roster. However, they won only by 2 points - cannot call this a domination! '09-'10 will be an exciting season with a couple of teams vigorously contesting them...

Cochrane playing for GC Golf will make things interesting. Looking at this years standings, Nassau or Hunt Y might be going down to Division 2 next year.

Agreed, The Creek/PRC is good because Caldwell is All world. Other then that, they are very beatable IF you have serious firepower. But who has it? Kloss is maybe .500 and is so beatable by any decent player its a joke. He's completely over rated because Janisek is the only real force on that team. Kloss is just a coat tail rider and water skiis off Janisek. Their #3 Team is very solid, Martin W is playing much better and will continue to improve. Their nos.5&6 have gotten much better and will continue to improve. Again, who can beat them? Since Christmas, they have man-handeled this Division like never before in LI.

Bonekill comes back with another idiotic post, filled with grammatical and spelling errors. Who is this joker? Can you at least spell the names of the players somewhat right? Janisek!?!?!?! They won by 2 points - in Bonekill's microcephalic view, that is equivalent to "never seen before"...I will refrain from further comment due to tremendous respect for the readers.

Martin W? He's been playing paddle for over 10 years. He loses at #4 vs. mediocre club players. It's a joke. He has consistently gotten worse every year that he has played.

Gotta love guys who refer to themselves in the 3rd person: paranoia is slowly creeping in. Bonekill, please seek help, we don't need more idiots on this board, we got that covered ourselves.

Carl, Police and the other pretenders....
Chill out, just because I'm stating the obvious truth, dont get upset. Just go out there and learn and then we can talk. If you want me to breakout the chalkboard and 'splain it to you, let me know. I'll meet you at Rookies (appropriately named for you) and we can have a Q&A. You asking the questions and me giving the answers. At that point, you'll actually have some knowledge....
