A wintry mix in the morning will change to a rain and snow mix in the afternoon. High 37F. Winds NE at 10 to 20 mph. Snow accumulations less than one inch. Chance of precip 60%.

At this point it looks like matches will be playable at locations that have heaters.  Please speak to opposing captains well in advance

Ziffer playing ahead of Newman?

Fitzgerald back to playing #1, no doubt they'll put him at 4 come playoff time again

Most teams have consistant line ups, where same guys play in certain line up spots except Greenburgh.  I have never seen so many line up changes with guys playing #1 moved to play #3 or #4 against the stronger opponents.

Get Arnold Diaz to investigate please....

I will not be playing tonight in this weather. It's called a "rain date" for a reason. No sense in risking injury. Make the call wptl

I strongly believe on days like this the WPTL has to make an early call.  People coming from all over.  Good point re the rain date, and anytime there is "ice" all over the forecast, I think it is a no-brainer to postpone the matches.  I know WCC has a history of postponing even if it is cloudy, but they'd be right today.  I can only imagine how much alcohol was consumed by that team over a long weekend.

If the School system has the insight to cancel schools the WPTL must be responsible as well.   Make the call and cancel all matches across the board.   If the individual captains want to play, both must agree.

Hey, Guest:  is driving all over Westchester in icy conditions part of the sport?  Come on, be practical.

We just have a strong team and the best coach around. Coach Dampf is the best and his matches recaps are gold... go cry to Russ and Bob if you have a problem.
