1.

Matches should be played if at all possible. It should take 'unbelievable horrendous" weather to postpone a match. If a postponement is likely, captains should be initiating a dialogue Monday mornings keeping in mind the following:
- Return your telephone calls to fellow captain ASAP
- Don't let your team members assume anything.
- It is your responsibility to have your team ready.
- Make sure your courts are ready.

2. All Matches are to be played Monday Nights

3. Matches are to consist of six teams to a side. Each individual match is to be played as the best two sets of three.  At 6-6 the 12 point tiebreaker rule should be used.

4. Home Team responsibilities during the regular season are three sleeves of new balls and two cases of beer / soft drinks. (for playoffs, each team brings two sleeves and one case of beer / soft drinks). Cookouts are encouraged!

5. Since C.A.P.T. and Eastern Yacht Club are two court sites, matches should be scheduled - #3 and #6 at 6pm, #2 and #5 at 7pm, #1 and #4 at 8pm.  All other locations the format remains #1, #3 and #5 at 6:00 pm ; #2, #4 and #6 at 7pm.  THere is no established foreit time for an individual match. However, DON'T BE LATE

6.

Scoring for each Monday match is 2 points for the league team that wins, 0 for a loss. If a match ends in a 3-3 tie, each team is scored 1 point.  At teh end of the regular season in the event of two teams finishing with the same record, the following tie breaker system wil be used in this order:
a) Head-to-Head points.
b) Head-to-Head match records, i.e. 4-2, 3-3, 5-1, 6-0.
c) Most wins in league.
d) Total league match records.

7. No forfeits will be permitted.

8. The playoff format will be straight draw, a copy of the sheet will be sent to all captains.

9. All teams make the playoffs, top 4 tecieve byes. Bottom 8 will be entered into draw sheet (See playoff format).

10. No longer will the 3 match minimum be required to participate in the playoffs.

11. All "B" league clubs should estalish their own seperate rosters from their A Teams. Obviously, "A" teams sometime need to dip down for a "B" player once in a while, but it is felt that if a "B" player played in more than 2 "A" matches in a given season, he will be included on the "A" team roster the following year. "A" and "B" captains should maintain good communication throughout the season.

12. Non-members of a club will be allowed only after being approved by the commissioner. for a list of clubs with non-members, please call Dan McCormick.

13. All disputes should be refered to the commissioner. If he cannot resolve the matter with the parties involved, a captains meeting will be called.
