first ever Women's
B National championships took place this past
Friday, March 19th at the Patterson
Club in Fairfield, CT. Congratulations
to Barbara Acosta and Sarah Layton who defeated
Cecelia Bowers and Scooter Purse, 6-3, 7-6 (5).

| Eligibility:

Each
participant must be a regular APTA member for the
current 2003 - 2004 season.
Everyone is eligible to play in the B Nationals,
except the following:
- Any regional player who participates in the 2004
President’s Cup Competition
- The top 32 Nationally ranked teams. Rankings after
the 2004 Short Hills Tournament will be used to
determine eligibility
- Any player that the tournament director or “B”
Committee deems to be “not a B player”. |

three sets. 12-point tiebreaker (in all sets) |
