This year's Premier Cup was one to remember as the play and weather provided excitement for all to enjoy! Premier Platform Tennis and Wilson Racquet Sports did a tremendous job in preparing, promoting, and pulling off the sports most unique event! As a great way to kick off the 2006-07 season, many teams showed early season form, but only one team came away as the Premier Cup Champion.

Bill Fiedler/Mike Marino defeated Mike Cochrane/Scott Estes 6-3, 6-4 to claim their 1st Premier Cup title. Both teams entered the final undefeated and treated the crowd to a unique level of play that was seen throughout the whole weekend. This year's round robin format on Saturday conisisted of 2 out of 3 sets w/ the 3rd set consisting of a 10 pt "Super Tie-Breaker". This created incredible drama not only for the players, but the spectators as well. One particular match between Chris Gambino/Dave Keevins and Anthony Cosimano/Steve Haller went down to the wire w/ Gambino/Keevins winning 16-14 in the 3rd set! Bill Anderson/Mike Stulac defeated Chris Gambino/Dave Keevins 6-3, 6-3 to take 3rd place.
