The Women’s 40+ and 60+ Nationals were a case of “same old, same old”, as last season’s gold medalists retained their crowns in each age group.  A very strong “full 32” field competed for the 40+ title.  Andrea Noyes and Sheri Shea came out on top with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over Cynthia Dardis and Amy Shay.  For the first time in five years Helen Garrett and Sandy Simmers did not have to face Winnie Hatch and Sharon Hummers in the final round of the Women’s 60+ Championship.  Mary Fenton and Mary Sturgis teamed up this year to win the silver medal.
