The Westchester Platform Tennis League offered a Year End Tournament for players in Divisions 2 and below. While many of their teammates were getting out their tennis rackets and golf clubs, 32 enthusiasts elected to continue to play platform tennis. With a mid-afternoon start, the draw size was perfect. Tournament Directors Kevin Dillon and John Walzer assured that all had a good time.
With the draw being heavily populated by teams from Bronxville Village, it was appropriate that one of these teams would end up on top. Paul Rice and Ken Katz defeated John Stevenson and Steve FitzPatrick from Sleepy Hollow Village to claim the title. The Consolation crown was won by Orienta Beach Club's Chuck Reilly & Andy Regan over NYAC's Robert Finkelstein & Terry Crowe.
