March 4, 5 & 6th, 2005 is the date and will include the Husband & Wife as well as the Senior Husband/Wife national championship. These two events will take place on Friday. Saturday will see play beginning in quest for the National Mixed title. Sunday the semi-final and final matches of the main draw as well as the remaining reprieves.

There is an open to the public tailgate type party with free food and drink starting at 1 PM for the finals. Just before the finals a costumed playing exhibition in 1940’s garb will take place to kick things off. The event is drawing attention to the museum project currently underway at Fox Meadow for a museum/Hall of Fame wing on the clubhouse.

Included in your entry is a specially designed Claiborne outerwear jacket with zip off sleeves and fleece lining. All the stops were pulled out on this favor by a member donation from Spring Brook CC.

Everyone will get a minimum 3 matches and lunches and receptions on Friday and Saturday nights. Sponsored by Morgan Stanley and Liz Claiborne, the event is sure to attract a large draw.

Perennial number-one David Ohlmuller and his sensational partner Susie Keene are the team to beat. The Zink’s will have their hands full defending the titles in both the Husband/Wife and the Open Championships.

Housing is available for out of town guests and discounted hotel rate have been secured by the Tournament Committees. The schedule of play will revolve around the Morristown area clubs and will include Beacon Hill and Canoe Brook just a 15 minute ride away.

A four color souvenirs program will also highlight the event with ads and articles, as well as an collection of paddle memorabilia that will be on display to commemorate the museum effort. Bring your old paddles and donate to the museum cause.
