Partnership With Gamma Sports |
Viking
Athletics announced today that it will be teaming with Gamma Sports
for the 2003/2004 platform tennis season. Viking the leading manufacturer
and supplier of platform tennis paddles and balls will be using
Gamma Pro-RX grips on all Viking adult paddles next season. Gamma
is a leader in racquet sports’ gripping technology and a leading
supplier of racquet sport grips.
Dave
Ohlmuller, National Sales Manager of Viking Athletics, said,
“We are very excited about the strategic partnership between
Viking and Gamma. We hope to incorporate many of Gamma’s technologic
innovations for shock reduction into our paddles. Over the years,
the one criticism players have had with our paddles has been our
grips. With Gamma on board, we feel we have not only rectified any
perceived problems, but also have created another value added selling
point for our retailers and teaching professionals.”

Viking products

National Championships in Philadelphia, March 8, 2003.
