Athletics is very excited to announce the creation of
the Viking Academy and the enhancement of Viking sponsored
platform tennis instructional clinics.
the past eight seasons Viking Athletics has sponsored
many different instructional "camps" across
the country, many more than its competition combined.
These camps have featured many top ranked professionals,
certified instructors, and other top rated teachers.
Starting in August 2003... Viking has
decided to combine its efforts under one umbrella and
has created the new Viking Academy.
the court, the Academy will have a large presence on
the web. The site www.VikingAcademy.com,
which will be fully operational on or before August
1, 2003, will provide contact information, schedules,
and playing tips, from and about the Academy trainers.
The Academy believes the educational process does not
end when a student leaves the court, but rather is continuum
of ideas and methods that stretch throughout the season.
As such, clinic participants will be encouraged to visit
the site for playing tips and will be emailed tips throughout
the season as an ongoing part of the Academy’s
instructional process and commitment to excellence.
