last August. So why is it so big? The pro
shop has had a massive update, most notabily Platform
Tennis Nets for $125, shoes
from Wilson for both men and women. If you do not need new shoes, perhaps
you need to fix your old shoes with a repair
kit ($4.99) and some shoe
goo ($4.99).
The the
pro shop still sells paddle
covers and Viking paddles such as the Tsunami
($95) and Dagr
($105), but don't forget about the new "grip2"
overtape to better hang on to your paddle ($4.50), and the new lead
tape to add some extra weight to your paddle ($3.99). Both from GAMMA.
Finally, misprinted
balls from Viking are now just $25 per dozen.
Two play tips
have been also added, one intermediate
(defending the corner)
and one beginner (attack
and push overheads).
