Mixed
Doubles Tournament Supporting Cincinnati Teen Driver Fund |
10-1-2003 |
As you may or
may not know Paula Comisar’s 17 year old daughter, Kenzie
was killed in a single car accident last summer. As a result of
this life altering event, she and her husband, Marc have created
The Cincinnati Teen Driver Fund in honor of Kenzie. It is the mission
of this fund to support, advance, and promote a program of hands-on,
in-car defensive driving and accident avoidance training for new
drivers in the greater Cincinnati area.
This year we
have chosen The Cincinnati Teen Drivers Fund as the benefactor of
our Mixed City Tournament. 100% of the proceeds will be going to
this worthy cause. What I am asking for is any help in the way of
prizes, food, drinks or money to cover these items. The tournament
will be held on November 15, 2003 at the Glendale Lyceum and Beckett
Ridge Country Club. If the draw is big enough we will have two divisions,
an A-B division and a B-C division.
We encourage
all of you, regardless of your level of play, to participate in
this tournament. You have an opportunity to have a great day of
paddle along with the knowledge that you supporting Paula and her
family and saving lives through the training that the teens will
be receiving from THE CINCINNATI TEEN DRIVER FUND.
