Ohlmuller and Chris
Gambino continue their dominance of highest level of paddle
in the country by winning this first time event with it’s
unique”red zone” targets.(points are also won by hitting
red zones /out-right winners-no more endless points!)
David and Chris are establishing themselves as the “Tiger
Woods of Paddle” ;together they have now won 6 out of 6 events,
they entered. 5 national APTA events and now this star studded professional
event with prize money. ( They have lost only 1 set in all 6 national
events!)
Professionals competing with David and Chris were; John Milbank,
Jim Kaufman, Anthony Casimano, Steve Haller, Mark Ruppert, Tim Heath,
Bob Considine, Brad Walsh, Mike Cochrane, Bill Anderson, Russ Jellineck,
Mike McAvoy, Marcel Lima & Gonzalo Rio.
In addition to the professional event, the amateur event boasted
entries from the towns of Briarcliff, White Plains, Bronxville and
Ardsley CC, Sleepy Hollow CC and Seven Bridges Club.
