I am writing to you to encourage you to actively solicit participation for the upcoming APTA Junior Nationals being held on Saturday, January 11, 2003 at the Beacon Hill Club, Summit, New Jersey.

Viking Athletics has taken an active sponsorship role in this event for many years. But balls, favors, prizes, and money alone cannot ensure success of the event or the sport's future. We need participation.

May I ask that you make a New Year's resolution to ask a child to participate in the upcoming Junior Nationals (or other junior event)? Applications for the Junior Nationals are currently available for download at www.paddlepro.com.
