This unprecedented event will bring together
the current top team in the world of Paddle Tennis
and two of Platform's most talented National Champions!
Scott Freedman and Don Schwake from Venice Beach, CA.
will compete for the first time ever on a Platform
tennis court against Platform's duo of Bill Anderson
and Flip Goodspeed.
Freedman is Paddle Tennis's premier
player and is a 19 time World Champion & currently
holds all major titles in the sport! Schwake is currently
ranked #2 in the world and is considered to be the
sports next great player. On the Platform end, Anderson & Goodspeed
have won over 9 APTA National Championships.

Anderson
won his first NAtional Championship last March w/
partner Mike Stulac and along w/ Stulac currently
hold the sports #1 ranking. Goodspeed has accomplished
almost everything a player could achieve in the sport
of Platform. During his career, Goodspeed has
won 7 APTA National Championships w/ partner
Scott Mansager. Together Anderson and Goodspeed's
experience and athleticism create an exciting
representation for the sport of Platform! Four Bridges
Director of Racquet sports and organizer Jason
Gray has been trying to bring thie two sports together
for such a match for over two years!

for fans to finally see both sports come together
for one great battle!" says Gray. And with the
help of Title Sponsor Wilson Racquet Sports and other
sponsors such as Premier Platform Tennis, Reebok,
Dickerson Distributing, Staybridge Suites, and Four
Bridges C.C. helped bring this exciting concept to
reality.

The format will be 2 out of 3 sets
and as a bonus, The Midwestern's Tournament Committee
has granted Freedman & Schwake a wild card
into the weekend tournament. "Bringing the two Paddle
Sports together for the first time will allow fans
from all over the country to experience something
unique and create exposure for both sports" says
David Dodge of Premier Platform Tennis..
As a part of the
agreement, a chosen Platform team will be granted
a wild card into Paddle's US Open National Championships
in late February in
Las Vegas with a history making $100,000 total
purse. To commemorate both history making events,
The Tennis Channel has agreed to televise both later
in 2006.
