Huntley Montgomery and Thomas Darling had to beat two strong teams to win the 2021 Lagunitas Men's Open, including the host clubs pro Sebastian Bredberg and his partner Hugh Klein in the finals. The upset of the tournament came in the quarter finals when Peter Lardner and his 14-year old son Tom, beat the #1 seeds Cochrane and Ward 6-0, 6-1.
